I Don't Love the Medal, But I Sure Do Love the T-Shirt.

{despite this knowledge I still came down with an AWFUL case of the “trots” on race day}.

Best of 30POV: It's NOT so gay

May 26, 2011

“Most Give me liberty or give me Death-ish Post” I wanted to give Bestie #26 a “most politically correct” or “most LGBT-friendly” award, but–honestly–I think our site is fairly non-offensive, at least in that respect.  In fact, we often forget that there is still an entire country out there that *doesn’t* think, act, or believe […]

Feed me, starve me, love me.

March 30, 2011

Food. When you hear or see this word what emotion is evoked? Do you think “fuel”, and remind yourself only two more hours until lunch, and how important your hearty, fiber, protein filled lunch will be to your evening run? Does it bring you back to this weekend when you enjoyed a delicious steak and […]

Love in the Time of Cholera…err…Bridezilla?

February 26, 2011

To date there are approximately 5-10 reality televisions about…WEDDINGS. You have your Bridezilla, Say Yes to the Dress, Say Yes to The Dress {for big girls}, My Fair Wedding, a Wedding Story, For Better or For Worse, Whose Wedding is it Anyway, and don’t even get me started on…BRIDALPLASTY.  (yuck). December 26, 2010

OH the wonderful magic of that little monthly pill! You know the one right?  The made them all pretty those pills, pink, white, green, or blue. How many times do you hear “that is SO GAY!”, or “Don’t be such a fag”. It happens more than you think.

If you win the lottery, don't…

"I learned it by watching {not listening} to you."

July 26, 2010

If there is one thing I wish I had put my “listening ears” on for during the first two decades of my life, it was any lessons that may have come my way regarding money.  Sadly, whenever the topic of general financial responsibilities came up, I was suddenly plagued with temporary hearing loss.  Faced with […]

If you are reading this, I have officially turned thirty.

May 26, 2010

“Thirty huh? You freaking out yet?” If I had a nickle for every time this question had been posed to me in the past thirty days, well then, I would have a shit ton of nickles. No.  The simple act of turning thirty is not causing me to freak out, have a breakdown, require hospitalization, […]
